Cindy Rivas Alfaro served as a student ambassador for the Big 12 Homecoming tour with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. She is the managing editor at the University of Houston's student newspaper, The Cougar, and is set to graduate with a bachelor's degree in journalism by May 2025. Outside of writing, she loves traveling to different cities for concerts and cuddling with her cat, Zia. Cindy hopes to write stories that empower women and continue to connect people through digital media.
