Serena Williams has made a habit of proving that she knows how to dress. Following her 2022 retirement from professional tennis, the athlete ditched her usual uniform (a sleek Nike tennis getup) for chic off-court fashion.

We’re not just talking about her red carpet looks, either—though those certainly have been worth noting. No, we’re talking her everyday fashion. It seems that, though she put away her Nike tennis gear when she walked off the pro courts for the last time two years ago, she hasn’t purged her closet of clothing from her long-time sponsor. On the contrary, she continues to sport some iconic looks from the storied sportswear company, but simply opts for more sleek, streetwear-inspired pieces, rather than competition gear.

Her latest outfit for the Nike On Air Event in Paris is the perfect example. She paired a fabulous oversized color-blocked tan jacket with a pair of matching wide-legged pants for an elevated ensemble.

The outfit honored her ongoing partnership with the brand, which, in recent years, has included several collaborations. Williams has released a handful of her own Nike collections, working with the designers at the company to craft gear that aims to inspire design going forward. The collaboration even led to the creation of the Serena Williams Design Crew, a group at Nike dedicated to working with Williams to bring her ideas to life.

Williams may not be stepping out on center court with the Swoosh emblazoned on her tennis dress anymore, but her work with the brand is far from finished.
