Natasha Barnard was photographed by James Macari in Hayman Island, Australia.

Natasha Barnard made back-to-back SI Swimsuit Issue appearances in 2013 and ’14. First, the South African model posed for photographer James Macari in Hayman Island, Australia. When she returned to the magazine the following year, she worked with Raphael Mazzucco and traveled to Barreirinhas, Brazil.

In addition to her work with SI Swimsuit, the 34-year-old has also modeled for Armani Exchange, GUESS and WonderBra. Outside of her profession as a model, Barnard also enjoys a creative hobby behind the lens: photographing wildlife.

“Wildlife photography is one of my biggest passions,” Barnard previously told SI Swimsuit, adding that an ex-boyfriend suggested she pick up the hobby due to her love of wild animals. “When that clicked, I got a really good camera and I got a few lenses and then I tried to, every second that I could, to be in the bush to get that perfect shot because the thing about wildlife is you can’t make the animals do what you want them to do, you have to be there to get that perfect shot.”

Today, Barnard regularly shares her wildlife and landscape photography with her 38,900 Instagram followers, in addition to lifestyle and work-related images.

Below are eight of our favorite snaps from the model’s SI Swimsuit photo shoot in Australia.
