Throwback Thursday: Bar Refaeli

We generally reserve Throwback Thursday for SI legends - Heidi Klum,  Christie Brinkley and Vendela Kirsebom to name a few - but today SwimDaily takes a look at another, more recent cover girl, Bar Refaeli. The Israeli-born model has appeared in five swimsuit issues and earned a reputation as one of the world's top models. She got her start when she was just eight-months old and has been in front of the camera ever since. Her big break come in 2007 when she was tapped to appear in her first SI Swimsuit edition. "The first time we shot for Sports Illustrated was in Jamaica," Refaeli recalls. "And I hardly remember what happened because I was so excited and I was nervous about whether I was doing the right thing or not." In addition to SI, Bar has also been seen in Esquire, French ELLE, GQ, Maxim and has done ads for an assortment of companies including Gap, Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Reebok, True Religion, Victoria's Secret. But she's still best known for her work in Sports Illustrated and on this Throwback Thursday, we've collected 30 of Bar's best swimsuit photos.
