Frankies Bikinis has just announced another major collaboration and this time it’s with the reigning style champ of tennis, Naomi Osaka.
Frankies founder Francesca Aiello tapped the world’s No.1 player for the collaboration not only for Osaka’s love for fashion but also for her ability to communicate through her personal style. Osaka is well- known for her outspokenness on social justice issues, having famously worn masks honoring seven Black victims of police violence or racist attacks at the 2020 U.S. Open, and was one of Sports Illustrated’s honorees as Sportsperson of the Year last December. The duo created this collection hoping to inspire women to feel confident and celebrate themselves.
Osaka’s feminine, sporty style has been perfectly incorporated into the trusted DNA of the Frankies brand, making this one of the most cohesive collabs yet. This is especially true with the debut of a new silhouette, the “Osaka One Piece,” a collared polo-style top with a tie-waist bottom that allows you to control the coverage.
Frankies Bikinis x Noami Osaka is set to release in two drops: the first on May 10 with a second to follow on May 19 exclusively at www.frankiesbikinis.com.
The first pulse will include 30 bikini separates and two one pieces in fun, girly prints alongside a brand-new satin-inspired fabric available in pastel green and deep blue. The styles will range from skimpy to full coverage and will be offered in size XS to XL, with select options in 2XL. Everything will be sold as separates so you can mix and match to fit your own personal style. The second release will introduce 30-plus new pieces with brand new prints and colors. We’re most excited about the checkmate terry jacquard print that comes in the perfect shade of orange.
Set your alarms for 9 a.m. PST on May 10 because we predict these styles will be flying off the shelves. Scroll below to plan your purchases!
