There is nothing I appreciate more than a well fitted, quality basic white tee or tank top, one that is durable enough to withstand my inability to separate colors in the wash. Confidently I will say that there is not a strong correlation between price and product in this category. A Hanes tee often outperforms a shirt made by an overpriced designer. With multiple drawers overflowing with things we won't wear, it would seem fitting to do some research before purchasing for economic and environmental reasons.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wears these Zara bodysuits on repeat, and because I can't afford the Balenciaga bags, I gave these a try. Wow. The high neck makes this a sophisticated layering piece for the office (whatever that is) yet it is versatile enough for any look.
Target price tag - Rag and Bone esthetic. These edgy muscle tees are chic and sexy and extremely comfortable. Wear them to bed or to the bar.
ReDone x Levis. Okay I'm a sucker for a good collab, but this one merits the praise. The perfect curation on styles and fits, there’s something here for everyone.
Joah Brown has all the dreamy basics a quarantined girl could ask for. They have the best baggy crop tops that can be matched with sweats, but also can be dressed up. (As you can see my top criteria here is pairs well with sweatpants.)
Babaton basics from aritzia are another closet staple. A pull-on bodysuit (without the ability to unbutton at the bottom) is not for everyone, but I find they last longer and are less likely to snap open when you drop it low.
The Madewell Baby Tee is my go-to 'flirty' tee. It has more heft to it than most tees, but also shows off the curves.
