In 2015, Brush Creek Ranch expanded the collection to include Magee Homestead, an adults-only culinary and wellness-driven experience property, and French Creek Sportsmen’s Club, a destination for guests seeking outdoor pursuits, geared primarily for the avid angler and shooter. Last year the Farm at Brush Creek opened, which is geared toward maintaining a seed-to-table culinary experience across all ranches and includes a 20,000 square foot certified organic greenhouse, Brush Creek Distillery and Brush Creek Brewery, Medicine Bow Creamery, Cheyenne Club Restaurant, a bakery, Spirit Vault and world-class wine collection held in a 94-yard wine tunnel.
Any interesting historic notes about Brush Creek Ranch?Saratoga’s natural hot springs have been drawing people’s attention for centuries. It was a destination for Native Americans and eventually American frontiersmen as they pushed westward in the late 19th century. It became a hub for settlers, trappers and loggers, like the Sterrett brothers, who would later settle in the land we now call Brush Creek Ranch. In 1884, these brothers would build the original homestead with logs cut, skid and hauled from the adjacent area that is now part of Medicine Bow National Forest. Their spirit of hard work, recreation and adventure is still felt in every square inch of the property. As a luxury guest ranch, visitors will find homage paid to these ideas all around them, meshed seamlessly with a plethora of modern amenities. Brush Creek Ranch was maintained as a working cattle ranch, and the property was acquired in 2008 by Bruce and Beth White.
