Abby Dahlkemper Glows in a Muted Green Fitted Silk Gown

She traded her soccer uniform for a gorgeous gown during a weekend of wedding festivities in California.

With her NWSL season over, the time has come for Abby Dahlkemper to relax and enjoy a well-deserved off-season. The pro soccer player made a triumphant return to the San Diego Wave FC this past fall following an injury that put her on the sidelines during the 2022 NWSL playoffs. And, after an incredible season for the young team (which was founded in 2021), the defender is taking a break.

Among other things, her off-season so far has included attending an idyllic wedding in Carmel Valley, Calif. The athlete proved she has put away her uniform for the moment, stepping out in a sage green silk gown with a ruched halter neckline. She paired the figure-hugging number with a few gold bangles and sported her short dirty blonde hair in a soft beach wave.

We weren’t the only ones to take note of her fabulous style in the scenic series of photos that she shared from the Californian celebration, either.

“gorgeous lady,” her teammate, pro soccer player Danielle Colaprico, commented.

“Beautifullll,” another former teammate Shea Connors wrote.

“The olive dress is everythingggg on you 💚,” one follower shared, a sentiment that we can absolutely get behind.

“Olive dress👏❤️, world class,” another added.

The athlete has proven again and again she knows just how to dress up when the occasion calls for it, and this most recent moment was no exception. Here’s to hoping she has more reasons to dress up before too long.
