The past weeks and months have proven that there are dozens of ways to incorporate red, the declared color of the season, into your wardrobe. Our favorite models and celebrities have proven it can be either as dramatic or as minimalistic as you’d like

For model Alexis Ren, it was simple. Declaring her approval of the season’s shade, the model wore a sheer, lace-trimmed knee-length skirt. She paired her pop of crimson with a simple black tube top and black kitten heeled sandals. She accessorized with a dainty pendant necklace and a pair of diamond drop earrings and wore her signature dirty blonde hair in a lengthy braid down her back.

“💃,” Ren captioned a short reel that she posted to TikTok, in which she stood up, spun around and playfully danced in front of the camera, displaying all sides of her chic little ‘fit. She sported a deep pink lip—another pop of color that complemented her vibrant skirt nicely.

“Umm this fit?? adorable I love it! ❤️‍🔥,” one fan gushed in the comment section.

“Great outfit Alexis 🥰,” another added.

“So beautiful 💋,” someone sweetly complimented.

While her take on the recent red trend was simple, it was likewise glamorous—and a perfect example of how to add the color into your daily (or nightly) wardrobe choices. Adding a simple red skirt to your rotation is just as easy as sporting a red lip, a fact Ren easily proved to be true.
