One of the most timeless pieces of the holiday season are the countless classic songs that accompany it year after year. But in addition to the age-old songs that have been passed down throughout the years, there are several new holiday songs that crop up each year that we wouldn’t mind adding to our seasonal playlists.

Among the musicians whose Christmas music is worth playing on repeat is country star Carrie Underwood. Her 2020 Christmas album features a host of holiday songs that are worth a listen. But, if you aren’t convinced, look no further than her latest Instagram reel.

In the clip, the sensation took to the stage in her holiday best to perform her 2020 hit “Let There Be Peace,” which she expertly combined with her song “Something in the Water” for one epic mashup. While the live performance is certainly worth admiring, we also want to take a moment to praise her stunning stage style.

We’ve said it before: Underwood knows how to dress for a concert. This has perhaps never been more true than for her latest performance of the holiday tune. She stepped out in a glorious strapless blue sequined gown and a pair of gorgeous diamond drop earrings for the occasion, an outfit that couldn’t have been more fit for the seasonal song.

If you’re in the mood to watch more of Underwood’s live holiday performances (and see more of her epic stage fashion), be sure to check out her special, My Gift: A Christmas Special From Carrie Underwood. Nothing could be more primed to get you in the holiday spirit.
