The pop singer put an elevated, daring spin on the classic princess costume.

Disney princess costumes are far from unique on a Halloween night. The cast of characters offer a simple, yet glamorous option for your holiday festivities year after year. And though not rare, there are some who take the favorite to the next level with their carefully curated looks.

Demi Lovato is that person this year. The pop singer and actress stepped out for a party in Los Angeles this past weekend in her Snow White best, sporting the most glamorous princess costume that we’ve seen this year.

To the classic blue-and-red puff-sleeved dress with a yellow satin skirt, she added a plunging shiny black corset top with fine gold ribbing. With an oversized red bow and a vibrant red lip, Lovato rounded out the ’fit in style. The spin on the princess’ recognizable style made for a glamorously unique look.

“My favorite time of the year.. Happy Halloween 👻🎃,” she captioned an Instagram post of the fabulous getup.

The overwhelming consensus among her followers—according to the opinions they professed in the comment section—was that Disney has erred in the casting for the forthcoming live action Snow White movie.

“Petition to have Demi play Snow White in the live action movie,” one follower wrote.

“Demi should be Snow White in the new disney live-action movie 💯,” another concurred.

We couldn’t agree more. With her glossy, raven hair and a proven ability to rock Snow White’s classic blue-and-yellow uniform, we are sure that she would have made for an incredible addition to the film.
