Ellie Thumann Stays Inspired by 2023 Denim-Themed SI Swim Photoshoot, Rocks Denim One-Piece in Hamptons

The model wore a swimsuit reminiscent of her rookie outfits while lounging in coastal New York.

Cowgirl chic is in, and that means all-denim everything is making a comeback. From full-denim evening looks to denim hats, blue jeans are a great go-to staple. But when Ellie Thumann posed for her 2023 SI Swimsuit rookie photoshoot in Puerto Rico, she took the decades-old trend and added a new spin. The YouTuber wore denim-inspired swimwear, rocking blue jean bikinis and a chic denim corset top paired with stringy navy bottoms.

Rather than leaving the style in Puerto Rico, however, Thumann has carried it over into her personal poolside looks. Among the model’s many chic looks from her trip to the Hamptons with Saint James Iced Tea was a blue one-piece swimsuit that reminds us fondly of her denim debut.

The high-cut, scoop neck one-piece from Lovers and Friends comes in a blue jean pattern, with various shades and prints of denim collaged across the suit. Thumann shared a reel of herself relaxing on a plush poolside chaise lounge in her photoshoot-inspired look, casually sipping a juice and applying lip gloss under a Saint James-branded umbrella. Fittingly, she paired the denim look with a tan cowgirl hat and a pair of chic black shades. 

We were big fans of the recent outfit, but we were even bigger fans of the excuse to look back at Thumann’s incredible photos from Puerto Rico. We agree with Ellie—it’s not quite time to let go of the coastal cowgirl look.
