Ellie Thumann’s Sheer Top and Sparkly Mini Shorts Might Be Her Most Unique Pairing Yet

Milan Fashion Week brought out the model’s impeccable fashion sense.

All of the fashion we’ve seen from Milan Fashion Week has been, to put it simply, unforgettable. But there was perhaps no one who did it better—or caught our attention more effectively—than social media influencer Ellie Thumann.

She had a series of really fabulous outfits at the week-long event. However, none was more eye-catching than one of her night-out looks in the Northern Italian city. An evening out calls for some drama, and the 22-year-old certainly delivered on that front.

Thumann started with a sheer black base: a pair of black tights and a sheer high-neck top. To that, she added a pair of rust-colored sequined mini shorts, which positively popped against the black base. On top, she opted for a long black coat. She completed the look with a pair of black leather boots and a small black quilted handbag, and her hair was slicked-back into a bun to allow the ensemble to shine.

In an Instagram post that the model shared from the evening, she posed in various spots around Milan (including in front of the famous Duomo di Milano), showing off all angles of the beautiful look. She didn’t just stop there, though. The 2023 SI Swimsuit rookie took to TikTok to give the incredible outfit the recognition it deserved—and we don’t blame her for doing so.

Milan Fashion Week is over, but we have every reason to believe that the model will find other opportunities to flex her good style soon. And we will, as always be here to admire it.
