Emily Ratajkowski Literally Stops Traffic With Her Magenta Cut-Out Jumpsuit
Emily Ratajkowski is adding traffic director to her résumé, which already includes model, actress, author, podcast host and mom. The 32-year-old was recently spotted on the streets of New York City posing for her latest Maybelline campaign. For the occasion, she wore a shiny magenta keyhole jumpsuit featuring a chest-baring cut-out and criss-cross halter-neckline. She paired the bright and eye-catching ensemble by The Andamane with matching hot pink kitten heels and gloves, silver square-shaped chunky earrings, and a black longline coat to keep herself warm on a brisk winter day.
The My Body author was photographed in the middle of the crosswalk, waving her arms around in a “stop” and “go” motion, while also showing off her bold smolder and fierce doe eyes to the camera.
The High Low with EmRata podcast host flaunted her slim figure, toned midriff and supermodel skills in the snaps. After all, the Southern California native and SI Swimsuit alumna was named Model of the Year in 2018 by the Daily Front Row, and has graced countless Vogue covers.
The Inamorata founder is also passionate more than just modeling. She uses her platform to advocate for women in the industry and likes to share fun insights from her life as a content creator, fashionista and mom on TikTok.
“I want to change the way that we think about femme-presenting people in the world. That is my goal. I think that we have these associations around the feminine that are so problematic, and it’s affecting men as well. It’s affecting all of us. And it’s really important to me that that changes. That’s what I’m most interested in doing and the impact that I hope to have long-term,” she shared. “People joke with me: ‘Do you work for TikTok? What is wrong with you? Why do you care so much about it?’ Obviously there are privacy concerns, but I think that’s true with any social media app. As far as the discourse that happens on TikTok, it’s what Twitter wasn’t able to do but wanted to do. The more unfiltered and off the cuff, the better. It’s exciting for me personally because I can put something that feels kind of glam up, but then I can have one [post] where I’m just talking about something that I was thinking about and that would maybe be a tweet. I don’t have to be in one box and provide one type of content.”
