Transform Your Bedroom Into A Yoga Studio

Simple items to make our spaces more peaceful.

Has anyone else hit their peak Marie Kondo? Our spaces have been cleared (maybe) and now Phase Two is redecorating (I’ve decided). Create an oasis in your home to inspire a little movement and lots of relaxation. Use it as a place to disconnect, meditate, practice yoga or whatever suits you. Check out some tools and props that can transform your bedroom to a zen-room.

Yoga Mat

Amazon, $39.99

This mat is wider than standard yoga variation and gives you some extra wiggle room. Additionally, it’s non-slip and cushioned just enough to protect your knees.

Candle

Pure Plant Home, $20

You can always count on a candle to help you relax. Pick a non-toxic variety. No need to breathe in chemicals in your sanctuary room!

Diffuser

Amazon, $29.99

Fill your diffuser with water and a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Essential oils, which are extracted from plants, are linked to a variety of health benefits. Rose, Lavender, Chamomile are all calming options to try.

Foam Roller

OPTP Foam Roller, $51.95

Oddly enough, too much lounging can lead to back pain and muscle aches. This foam roller is equal parts satisfying and painful.

Lymphatic Drainage

De La Heart, $59

This tool, odd as it may look, is the perfect at-home massage assistant to help get blood flowing. It is said to help detox the body while smoothing and hydrating the skin. Try using this paddle with your favorite oil or purchase the full kit which includes a jojoba oil and body cream.

Scrunchie

Slip Scrunchies, $39

It’s always good to have a Slip scrunchie nearby to throw your hair up comfortably and without damage.

Peace Lily

Water Bottle

Kablo 32 oz Glass Water Bottle, $40

Opt for non-plastic reusable water bottles. Add some fruit or lemon to your water to make it more appealing.
