Genie Bouchard Embodies ‘Tennis Barbie’ on the Court in Pink Top

The professional athlete gave fans a sneak peek at her training.

Genie Bouchard is giving her Instagram followers a sneak peek at her training on the court while embracing the trendy Barbiecore aesthetic. 

The 29-year-old professional tennis player shared a clip of herself on Instagram on Aug. 4, in which she sported a bright pink T-shirt, black athletic shorts, orange New Balance sneakers and a white visor. The 2014 Wimbledon runner-up remained light on her feet as she ran across the court and served and volleyed the ball.

“Tennis Barbie 🎀,” the two-time SI Swimsuit model captioned the footage of herself, which was aptly set to Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice’s “Barbie World (with Aqua) [From Barbie the Album].”

“Barbie wishes she could play like such a boss babe. 🩵💪😉,” one of Bouchard’s 2.4 million followers commented.

“Frankly, you are better than Barbie👌,” someone else noted.

“2014 genie is back,” an additional follower observed.

“Glad you’re back playing serious tennis,” another fan added. “You’ve been missed!”

Bouchard underwent surgery for a torn shoulder in 2021 and returned to the court last August. She will play in Montreal’s National Bank Open in her native Canada this weekend, as Bouchard received a wild card spot to compete in the qualifiers at IGA Stadium on Aug. 5 and 6.
