Learn to Play the Guitar at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain

Pick up a new skill on your next vacation.

Typically, relaxing and exploring are on the itinerary more than learning a new skill if you’re on vacation. But the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain managed to combine the two with a unique, in-room guitar experience.

Called The Sound of Your Stay, the famous hotel launched the signature multitiered amenity to expose guests to as much music as possible. You can reserve your choice of a Fender guitar, which comes with headphones and an amplifier. If you’re already a seasoned strummer, then you can create a pop-up studio in your room. Or for those who have never picked up a guitar, the hotel provides in-room videos to teach you how to get playing.

Of course, the music offerings go beyond guitar rentals. Hard Rock will also provide guests a Crosley turntable and a vinyl collection to let you enjoy some easy listening (or rocking out). And the hospitality brand has curated several downloaded playlists for your stay that will set the mood for a romantic dinner, chilling out by the pool or working up a sweat at the gym.

And we can’t talk about the music offerings and not mention the incredible memorabilia on display at this West Coast outpost. While walking through the hotel, you can check out a custom Harley-Davidson Softail for Eddie Van Halen that has only 811 miles on it, a John Lennon tweed suit worn to one of his immigration hearings, a Gene Simmons bass guitar, and a trench coat worn by Fergie in the music video for the hit single “Glamorous.”

As far as the rest of a stay at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain, guests can expect comfortable accommodations ranging from standard rooms to suites and a sprawling casino with 1,600 table games and slot machines. Oh, and did we mention the hotel is home to the world’s first edible 24-karat gold leaf steak burger? Yes, in true rock-star style, you can enjoy a half-pound fresh steak burger topped with a 24-karat gold leaf and all the fixings.

You don’t even need a record deal to live like a musician for the weekend.
