It’s awards season, which means we have—happily—been inundated with the best red carpet fashion for the past several weeks. The shows and the accompanying high-fashion moments just keep coming, and we couldn’t be more inspired by the various styles in the crowd at these exclusive events.

The most recent to catch our eye was the 2024 BAFTA Film Awards on Feb. 18. As with all of these events, the crowd was star-studded. Among the fray—and the many and various elevated outfits that we witnessed there—was British-American actress Lily Collins, who showed up to the event ready to impress.

She stepped out for the event in a black off-the-shoulder fitted velour gown with a pair of dramatic cream-colored puff sleeves and three-dimensional silver sparkly flowers at the neckline. She paired the floor-length number with a deep red lip, silver drop earrings to match her dress and a dramatic Hollywood-inspired hairdo.

“All dressed up last night for the @bafta Awards!” she captioned an Instagram post from the evening. “So honored to be included in such a special evening — and to present the award for special effects. Loved being back in London for a minute - and so fun to see so many friends and peers across the pond...”

The photos she shared were just dramatic enough to emphasize the drama of her beautiful red carpet look. And while we don’t like to declare favorites—it would be impossible, even if we wanted to—we will say that this one makes our list of best looks of the calendar year thus far.
