Hawaii native Naomi Newirth founded Acacia in 2010 as she felt the industry lacked the perfect sophisticated cheeky cut bottom, and we are endlessly grateful for this. She was the first to offer a cheeky, but not thong-like bottom, which to this day is staple of the brand. Her suits are a celebrity and SI Swimsuit favorite.

Becoming a mother of two has not slowed her down in the least. In true working mama fashion, Naomi continues to grow her robust business as one of the leaders in the swimwear market. She finds gaps and needs in the industry and seeks to fill them. Her brand now caters to men's, women's and children's apparel.

Acacia's beautiful RTW collection was a seamless extension of the brand and give us all a taste of Hawaiian beach-chic. The collection features relaxed fits, unique structures and variations of colors and patterns from neutrals to vibrants.

Naomi runs her business consciously, from employing local female designers to her strides in sustainable practices. Navigating a business this way can be difficult, but crucial for the future of fashion and she proves it to be possible. Naomi is a remarkable designer, entrepreneur and mother and possess an inspirational amount of ambition.
