From Casual to Black Tie, Olivia Dunne’s Best Fashion Moments of 2023

The gymnast had her fair share of sporty and fashionable looks throughout the past year.

At this point, it’s old news that Olivia Dunne is much more than a gymnast. She has proven as much again and again in the course of growing her personal brand. The 21-year-old is an athlete and an entrepreneur, too. But, unsurprisingly, she’s also a great dresser. She has a good sense of style, and she makes sure to show it off, too.

Between her glamorous leotards and her Vuori athleisure, even her sweats are chic. And while she might live in activewear for much of her day—as a college athlete, it’s part of the job description—that doesn’t mean Dunne can’t rock a great night out outfit (red carpet or not).

The 2023 calendar year has been replete with fabulous outfits from the LSU Tiger. Choosing just 11 of our favorites was difficult, but not impossible. Below are Dunne’s most glamorous looks of the year, in our opinion.

The (LSU) Tiger queen

This one is self-explanatory. The LSU uniforms go hard, an Dunne looks absolutely incredible in them. Add a crown and call her a queen—we’d believe it.

Fall football Saturdays

Living in the south, a pair of cowboy boots is essentially a requirement. Dunne took that and ran with it, securing herself a silver metallic pair guaranteed to make a statement. A white denim midi is the perfect complement for an outing to Tiger Stadium.

Workout Barbie

In a year where we just couldn’t stop talking about pink, it’s only fitting that Dunne would don an athleisure set in the bubblegum shade. The bra and leggings set from her brand partner, Vuori, made for a chic, casual afternoon ’fit.

Cowgirl, but make it bedazzled

This look had to make the cut. It was a no-brainer. A silver metallic gown fit for any red carpet, but particularly ready for an Academy of Country Music Awards ceremony. The addition of the horse could not have been more apt.

Gymnast Barbie

Forgive us for another Barbie reference, but you can’t tell us that she doesn’t look like a human-sized version of the doll’s gym-going alter ego.

The perfect cut-out midi

Sure, we’re a big fan of this SI Swimsuit launch party outfit for a variety of reasons, but the most important is her darling outfit. A white fitted midi with a flattering front cut-out? We approve.

Birthday chic

What else do you wear for your 21st birthday but a sparkly mini? We can’t think of a better ’fit to commemorate the big night.

Moody, yet elevated

Not a LBD, but a good black dress all the same. Featuring cut-outs and a floor-length style, this look was a hit at the 2023 ESPY Awards.

Cover girl

Listen, both of these looks for Elle magazine are incredible, but we’re particularly struck by the red turtleneck top and jeans. Simple, but so glamorous, and totally on-trend (the color of the season, of course).

A lace dream

The 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue red carpet event in New York City had many notable moments, and one was this look in particular. A black lace gown? Yes, please.

All that glitters isn’t gold

What better way to kick off the New Year than with a black sequined figure-hugging dress? At least where fashion is concerned, Dunne has answered the Snow White-inspired question she posed in the caption of her Instagram post: 2023 was definitely the best year.
