Selena Gomez had all eyes on her as she walked the red carpet during the MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey on Sept. 12. The singer, whose latest pop hit, “Single Soon,” has gone completely viral, donned a gorgeous ruby red number featuring a sweetheart neckline, halter straps and a thigh-high leg slit. The Oscar de la Renta gown included an all-over sheer beaded floral pattern with a long flower decal fringe hem.

Gomez paired the look with thin-strap metallic red heels from Jimmy Choo and diamond flower earrings and matching chunky rings from Pasquale Bruni. The 31-year-old’s long dark locks were smooth, pin straight and tucked behind her ears. Makeup artist Hung Vanngo opted for a sultry glam look, including bronzed cheekbones, rosy blush, smoky eye makeup, a glossy taupe lip and dramatic lashes. Nail artist Tom Bachik gave the Only Murders in the Building star long red acrylic nails, which he dubbed a “golden glazed fire mani.” The entire look was styled by Erin Walsh.

“Femme fatale ♥️. @selenagomez is radiant in a custom hand-beaded scarlet gown, featuring a halter neckline and floral tendril skirt. #odlrredcarpet #VMAs,” the luxury fashion house captioned an Instagram post of the former Disney Channel star.

“Thank you SO much for voting! We are so grateful!@gettyentertainment and @vmas,” Gomez wrote below her own IG carousel of the look. The Rare Beauty founder and singer Rema won the first-ever Best Afrobeats Award for their collaboration, “Calm Down.”

“You are so gorgeous ❤️ a rare beauty inside and out ❤️,” Miranda Cohen commented.

“AN ABSOLUTE SERVE! You left NO CRUMBS! You are breathtaking!!! Congratulations!! 🙌😭😍🔥,” Sussan Mourad added.
