Skincare brand Mario Badescu sprung into the spotlight when its rose water spray ($7) went viral several years ago. Shortly thereafter, the brand’s best-selling drying lotion ($17) became everyone’s go-to for healing and getting rid of blemishes.

The skincare company sponsored a fun activation in partnership with SI Swimsuit at Miami Swim Week on July 7, where the brand highlighted select products in the SI Swimsuit Barbie Dreamhouse at the W South Beach.

Models walked away with four of the brand’s most essential products, including the Lip Mask With Acai and Vanilla ($14), Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater ($7), Coconut Body Butter ($16) and Coconut Body Oil ($16). Read more about each of the products in the gifting suite here.

Romanian-born chemist and pharmacist Mario Badescu founded the brand when he moved to New York City in 1966. The company was built on the idea of analyzing skin with the expertise of an esthetician and creating products formulated with a blend of organic fruits and vegetables to “feed, nourish and revitalize the skin.” He began to offer appointment-only facials in his apartment and developed a handmade skincare routine.
