If you’re anything like us, New Year’s Eve is not only a fun excuse to dress up and celebrate with all of your friends, but it’s a chance to admire the fashion sense of others. Social media is a veritable runway of epic festive fashion in the days following the evening of celebration, and we couldn’t be happier about it.

Among those who put their good fashion sense on display is Olympic gymnast Simone Biles. As it turns out, she’s much more than just an incredible force to be reckoned with in the gym—she’s an impressively stylish dresser, too.

The athlete rang in the New Year in appropriate fashion: dressed to the nines in her best floor-length gown. She wore a deep green strapless silk dress, fitted through the bodice with a full skirt. The record-breaking athlete paired the glamorous number with delicate diamond jewelry and a full head of beautiful curls.

“ringing in the new year 🤍🥂,” she captioned the carousel she posted from her classy weekend evening. Biles spent her New Year’s weekend celebrating the wedding of one of her friends. The event called for a stunning black tie outfit, and she certainly delivered.

In addition to the great dress, we have no doubt that the athlete’s celebrations were filled with aspirational plans for the year to come, including, of course, the 2024 Olympics in Paris. We fully expect the athlete to continue her mindful training regimen and compete for a spot on the squad.
