Sofia Resing Is a Venetian Vision in Glamorous Cut-Out Lace-Trimmed Satin Slip Dress

Of all the looks that came out of this year’s Venice Film Festival and the countless accompanying events, one of our favorites had to be Sofia Resing’s elegant gown for the amfAR Venezia gala, supporting the AIDS Research Foundation. Though not as unique and exotic as many of the other looks sported at the different events—including Resing’s own swan-inspired look from days before—we loved the simple elegance of her satin look for the Sept. 3 evening.

The model shared a series of photos and videos to her Instagram from the night, highlighting her beautiful Alberta Ferretti gown and accompanying diamond necklace.

Her Italian caption on the post read, “A magical evening for a great cause @albertaferretti thank you for having me #amfARvenezia 🤍” in English. The Brazilian’s cream-colored satin gown featured a black lace trim and a striking cut-out in the back, which Resing showed off in the first couple photos in the carousel. The look was a part of the designer’s pre-fall 2023 collection.

Resing paired it with chic black pumps, which complemented the lace on her dress nicely. She sported a full face of makeup, including a hot red lip and wore her long brown hair in soft ringlets.

The model received a lot of love on the post and praise of the beautiful outfit.

“This gown is flawless like you! 🔥🔥,” one friend wrote.

“Loving this look 😍,” another added.

“Red carpet queen 🔥🔥🔥,” one follower gushed.
