We’re Obsessed With the Sheer Details in Kelsea Ballerini’s All-Black NYFW Look

The country music singer brought her best monochromatic fashion to the city.

When Kelsea Ballerini got the invite to the Michael Kors fall/winter 2024 fashion show for New York Fashion Week, we imagine she had every intention of bringing her best style to the crowd—and that’s exactly what she did.

We’ve never doubted her sense of style, but her NYFW look has given us a particular confidence in her ability to absolutely dress to impress. The 30-year-old showed up to the New York City event in an all-black monochromatic look. It wasn’t just the moodiness of the style that caught our attention, though. It was the exquisite sheer details incorporated into the high-fashion ensemble.

The popular singer-songwriter wore a long-sleeved sheer midi dress to the event. Underneath, she sported a complementary black bralette and a pair of high-waisted briefs. Ballerini completed the look with a pair of pointed, high-heeled black leather boots and a gold metal belt that hung loosely around her waist.

With the addition of a smokey eye and a soft wave in her light blonde hair, her whole look was more than fit for the high-fashion event.

“some @michaelkors magic and miscellaneous things,” she captioned an Instagram carousel from her trip to New York. The post included various angles of her outfit, as well as a clip of the some of the runway styles at the fashion show itself.

NYFW is now at an end, and while we’re going to miss the constant high-fashion content from all of our favorite celebrities, we’re consoled by the fact that we have Ballerini’s look to glance back at when in need of fashion inspo.
