What Brooks Nader Eats in a Day

The SI Swimsuit model reveals her go-tos for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Brooks Nader is no stranger to sharing the details of her glamorous day-to-day life. She’s brought her 700,000 Instagram followers along on her belated honeymoon in the Maldives, backstage at New York Fashion Week, and to various beauty treatments in New York City. The Louisiana native often dishes on her favorite spots to eat and shop. It seems she’s always on the go yet still manages to maintain her physique. We were curious what a typical day of eating looks like for her so we asked:

Breakfast

“For breakfast, I usually have avocado toast with a poached egg and coffee. And first thing in the morning, I take a probiotic with a large glass of water.”

Lunch

“Lunch typically consists of a salad or sandwich. For my salad, I usually create my own from Sweetgreen or Chop’t [in NYC] with kale, spinach, romaine, tomatoes, jalapenos, onions, bell peppers and balsamic dressing. Otherwise, my sandwich is chicken salad.”

Dinner

“I love having a rice bowl, sushi or pasta for dinner. The rice bowl I usually get from Cava, and it comes with white rice, crazy feta, chicken, onions, tomatoes and spicy peppers.”

Snack

“My snacks are a little strange. It’s either a pickle or chips. Plus, I have lots of Vita Coco to stay hydrated.”

Nader says that she likes to pair bread with lots of fiber. And she will carry one of those gallon water bottles around to sip on throughout the day. “I don’t always get through it, but I try,” she admits. Also, she times her meals to have mini fasting sessions. “I start eating at 12 p.m. and have my last meal at 8 p.m.,” she says. “So it’s only an eight-hour eating period.”

Nader is also a pro at preparing restaurant-worthy fish at home. Here is her go-to tuna recipe that’s surprisingly simple. In a bowl, mix fresh jalapenos, cilantro, freshly grated ginger, olive oil, low sodium soy sauce, one garlic clove, black pepper and two limes juiced to make a sauce. Next, get some sushi-grade tuna, add some salt, pepper and olive oil, then sear each side for 30 seconds. Top with your sauce, and you’re done!
