A String Bikini and Straw Hat Are Clearly Heidi Klum’s Vacation Essentials

The legendary SI Swimsuit model has been documenting her summer adventures in Italy.

If you’ve been paying any attention to Heidi Klum’s Instagram content lately, you’ve probably been living vicariously through the supermodel’s Italian vacation adventures. One thing that’s abundantly clear—besides how much she and her hubby, Tom Kaulitz, love on another—is that Klum’s go-to coastal vacation essentials include string bikinis and a good straw hat.

The America’s Got Talent judge shared a duo of photos of herself perched atop a rock, sunbathing on Aug. 15. Klum donned an animal print string bikini, which we’ve seen on other outings throughout this same trip. A lime green beach towel was splayed out beneath her, while the 50-year-old mom of four accessorized with an oversized straw hat, yet another look we’ve spotted along the way previously. Her head was turned away from the camera, looking out at sea, in the first snap, while Klum glanced back at her photographer in the second pic.

Klum captioned her latest IG carousel with a series of emojis: “😎💦👙🌺🍀❤️.”

While Klum has comments turned off on the post, we’ll give our two cents here: We love a woman who isn’t afraid to repurpose her fashion in a sensible manner, and even if the Germany’s Next Topmodel host’s extended European vacation doesn’t quite fit your budget, surely her frugal sense of style strikes a chord.

What started as a celebratory fourth anniversary trip with her 33-year-old rocker husband turned into a full family affair, as Klum has since shared snaps with her children and her mother while documenting her trip to Italy on social media.
