Brooks Nader Returns for SI Swim 2021

Brooks is an incredible mentor to our Swim Search community, one ounce of why we love her.

The modeling industry didn’t initially welcome Brooks Nader with open arms. She was rejected by several agencies for being too curvy, but the Baton Rouge native didn’t give up, eventually leaving Tulane University during her sophomore year to pursue her shot full-time. That perseverance worked. The 24-year-old participated in an open casting call in Miami in 2018, leading her to win 2019’s Swim Search. Last year she appeared as a rookie in the issue. Nader, a major football fan, recently started her own home-design business. Most of all, she wants to pay it forward and does so by mentoring women to achieve their dreams.

MJ Day: Why Brooks?

We have loved Brooks since the minute we met her. After winning Swim Search in 2019, she fully dedicated herself to engaging with our Swim Search community by acting as a support system and mentor for other inspiring models. She’s taken it upon herself to help pave the way for other individuals and we are so grateful to her for that!
