Emily DiDonato Is Expecting a Baby Girl

Just days after 2018 cover model Danielle Herrington announced she was pregnant, another SI Swimsuit model revealed that she, too, was expecting her first baby. Yes, Emily DiDonato just took to social media to share the big news that she will be welcoming a baby girl with her husband Kyle Peterson this December.

“Something special coming December 2021,” she captioned a montage video of her announcement. “It was so hard to keep this a secret! So excited to share with all of you that I am pregnant with a baby girl! Anyone else on here pregnant as well? Comment below! Can’t wait to share this journey with all of you!”

The video features DiDonato—who made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2013—holding up a pregnancy test that says “pregnant” and saying she couldn’t wait for her husband to get home. The mom-to-be proudly showed off her growing baby bump in a bikini, along with ultrasound photos, and shared the news with her family via Facetime. The 30-year-old also got honest about her pregnancy experience so far.

“The first trimester was really much harder,” she confessed. “I thought I was going to breeze through this. The first three weeks, I had no symptoms, so I was like, ‘This is fine. I don’t know why everyone hates it so bad.’ Now, I’m dead.”

Another clip shows DiDonato with Peterson and their dog Izzy finding out the news of the sex of their baby.

DiDonato shared a longer video on her popular YouTube channel explaining that she took three months off after launching her new skincare line, Covey, because of the pregnancy. She first suspected she was expecting after feeling overly bloated and took many pregnancy tests that ultimately confirmed the news.

The model plans to share her pregnancy journey on her various social media platforms.
