Hilary Rhoda and Sean Avery confirm their engagement

Two months ago the "news" "broke" that retired pro-hockey player Sean Avery was not only gay, but ENGAGED to openly gay Bravo TV host and executive Andy Cohen. (Note to world: A bromance does not an engagement make.) Today Sean and Hilary Rhoda, ya know, his on-off girlfriend of nearly four years, confirmed to People magazine that they, however, are engaged!

The couple were photographed together at Monday's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards. (If you recall, Sean interned with Vogue during the 2008 offseason, earning the elusive approval of Anna Wintour.) Sean, who was notorious for his loud mouth and brutish play in the NHL, was famously suspended from the league for that   seconds" comment about his exes. But we are certain that if Sean can land a classy gal like Hilary Rhoda he's gotta be a changed man, so congrats guys!
