Beach Volleyball Outfit Ideas: Go From the Surf to Sand in Style

Picture this: It’s a beautiful August afternoon and you’re gearing up for a casual round of beach volleyball with friends after taking a dip in the water. Rather than having to make a quick wardrobe change, enjoy your day and stress less with an outfit that takes you from the water to the sand with ease.
After members of the SI Swimsuit staff were on site during the Hero Volley’s Pro-Am Tournament in Montauk, N.Y., last month, we’ve had all things beach volleyball on the brain ever since. The event, which was put on by three-time Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings, featured a volleyball clinic, wellness events, athlete meet and greet and welcome party, all leading up to the main event on Wednesday, July 30. In addition to the Hero Volley Pro-Am Tournament, a vendor village provided sponsored activations, wellness activities, entertainment and more throughout the day.

Just in case you missed out on the Hero Volley action, don’t worry! You can recreate the following beach volleyball outfit ideas, courtesy of SI Swimsuit’s fashion editor, Margot Zamet, and assistant editor, Liz Wentworth, no matter where you find yourself playing this summer.
