You know her. You love her. And she's baaaack! We're over the moon to announce that Brazilian beauty Lais Ribeiro is returning for a third year with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
"The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue is such a game changer for a model," Lais said about coming back for a third year. "It has helped shape and support so many careers of women I look up to, so to be included in my third issue, is a dream come true. MJ and the SI team are like family and real advocates for strong and empowered women – I am honored to be part of that group."
Lais, a native of rural Miguel Alves, Brazil, began modeling in 2009. She first appeared in the Brazilian version of ELLE, before moving to New York City in 2010. She has walked the runway for several of the world’s top designers — Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, Michael Kors, Roberto Cavalli and Dolce & Gabanna, to name a few. But it was her first appearance at the VS Fashion Show which cemented her status as one of the world’s top models.
Since then, Lais has gone on to wear the world-famous Fantasy Bra, a lingerie garment valued at $2 million, and continues to dominate catwalks around the world.
