It’s a universal truth: in mid-January, we all want nothing more than to be on the beach in Mexico or some other tropical destination. The cold has been around just long enough to make a warmer respite feel almost necessary. Whether achievable or not, we all dream of warmer days.

For former Swim Search finalist Ally Courtnall, that dream is a reality. Alongside her husband, Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Eric Kendricks, the former UCLA soccer and track star has taken to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to escape the cold and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.

The tropical escape comes on the back end of Kendricks’s first season with the Chargers. He was traded ahead of the 2023 season to the California squad, who lost in the wild card round of the NFL playoffs. With the season at an end, the pair set off for the warm destination in style.

Courtnall, for her part, certainly brought the appropriate fashion for their getaway. In an Instagram post that she shared on Jan. 23, the model and former college athlete posed in a white linen tie-front top and a matching high-waisted skirt. She posed beachside in front of the beautiful sunset alongside her husband, who she even stole a sweet kiss from as the sun went down.

“Last night’s sunset was somethin else 🥹🌅🧡,” she captioned the photos.

There’s no doubt in our mind, she looked more than fit for the tropical destination and the ensuing beachfront snaps. It was the picture perfect vacation—and we’re only a little bit jealous.
