Danica Patrick Glistens Under the Wine Country Sun in Floral Fitted Mini and Red Heels

The former professional race car driver is spending her retirement from sports on an idyllic venture.

Former professional race car driver Danica Patrick hasn’t spent her retirement idly. She keeps busy on a weekly basis, recording and releasing her podcast, Pretty Intense. But, on top of that, the 41-year-old is the owner of a vineyard in the Napa Valley and an accompanying wine label. As the proprietor of Somnium Wine in Napa, Patrick headed to the wine country this week to check in on her property and take in the scenic area and good wines with friends.

She posted a series of photos to her Instagram from the sweet trip on Oct. 5, giving a highlight reel of her time in the vineyards of California. The athlete wore a sweet floral print halter neck mini dress for an evening of wine with her friends. She paired the dress with red heels, accentuating her toned legs.

“Wine-ding my way through napa this week! 😆,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Seeing harvest this morning in the dark at my property, having cocktails with some amazing local people in the valley last night, and having a full on photo shoot at my new tasting room in Calistoga today…. Was so much fun! And the trip is only half over! 😍🍷.”

It may have been, in part, a business trip, but the Wisconsin native made the most of it all the same. And since Patrick encouraged followers to book a tasting at her vineyard, we think we might have to take her up on it.
