A retired race car driver, Danica Patrick had an incredible career competing in the IndyCar Series and the NASCAR Cup Series, starting with her professional debut in 2002. During her time as a professional driver, the Wisconsin native was the first woman to win an IndyCar Series race during the Indy Japan 300 in 2008.
That same year, Patrick made her SI Swimsuit debut, posing for photographer Ben Watts in singer Island, Fla. She returned to the fold the following year, this time working with visual artist Marlena Bielinska in a New York studio.
Since retiring from professional racing in 2018, Patrick has expanded her professional portfolio to include a number of ventures, including wine brand Somnium and luxury candle brand VOYANT by Danica. Additionally, her Pretty Intense Podcast is a weekly show in which Patrick interviews guests about how listeners can create the life they’ve always desired.
