Kylie Jenner Teases New Career Move in Nothing but a Leather Jacket and Red Stilettos
Kylie Jenner’s A+ fashion girl status has already been cemented. In fact, we’ve known for almost a decade that she knows what she’s doing when it comes to dressing herself, setting trends and naturally gaining publicity.
The billionaire is a marketing genius, and a fashion and entrepreneurial mogul—and her already stacked portfolio just got bigger.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder began teasing some sort of new clothing-related business venture earlier this week when she shared a stunning sultry pic of herself in nothing but a black belted leather midi coat and red pointed-toe stilettos. Her glam was minimal and fresh, with a bold light berry lip and super glowy blush. She posed on the ground and was photographed from above with her hair in its natural and tousled waves and her legs sprawled around her, peeking through the zippered slits of the daring, skin-baring coat.
“meet khy,” she cryptically captioned the post shared with her 399 million Instagram followers.
The 26-year-old, who was named WSJ. Magazine’s Brand Innovator of the Year, officially announced the new clothing line in an exclusive with the publication on Oct. 26. She also participated in a moody, pastel and leather-filled photoshoot that, once again, proves she’s back in her King Kylie era—the mom of two even said so herself.
“The whole line is really inspired by my personal wardrobe, and the different moods that I’m in,” the reality TV star said, adding that she’s currently in her “King Kylie [era]—who I am at my core. Creatively I have such a strong vision of what I want to look like and what I want to do and what I want to wear. There’s really no one telling me what to do.”
Emma and Jens Grede, who are partners of Khloe Kardashian’s Good American and Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brands, are also a part of the Khy team, in addition to mom and manager Kris Jenner.
The line is set to feature various guest designers and will test new concepts year-round while creating investment pieces at a reasonably affordable price. Everything in Khy’s first drop will be less than $200.
