Freddy Krueger is usually associated with nightmares, but La La Anthony’s Halloween getup was nothing but dreamy. The television personality opted for a sexy take on the horror movie character for her Halloween costume this year, and we’re totally in awe.

The 41-year-old shared an Instagram carousel of her look on Halloween, which consisted of the character’s typical red-and-green motif. However, instead of a sweater, Anthony sported a figure-hugging bodysuit with torn cut-outs all over.

Makeup artist Lionel Lashad and special effects company Gotham FX helped Anthony achieve Krueger’s burned skin on half of her face, while the former MTV VJ opted for long red locks underneath her brown hat. And of course, Anthony accessorized with the character’s signature glove. She posed against a stunning fall backdrop created by Design House Decor for the series of photos snapped by Tomás Herold.

“A beautiful nightmare 🔪,” Anthony wrote in her Instagram caption. The costume captured the attention of many of her 14.7 million followers, who showered her with compliments in the comments section.

“Wow!!! 🔥🔪,” 2022 SI Swimsuit Issue cover star Kim Kardashian applauded.

“Make me want to go to sleep and wait for Freddy 😂,” one person quipped.

“Best nightmare I’ll ever [have] ❤️🥵,” someone else similarly stated.

“It’s the body suit for me 😍💙💚,” entrepreneur and author Angel Rich noted.

Earlier in the day, Anthony showed off the process of transforming into Krueger from the glam chair as she lip synced along to the franchise’s “Jump Rope (A Nightmare on Elm Street)” by Steve Jablonsky.
