Nneka Ogwumike Is ‘Bringing the Heat’ in Fitted Denim Crop, Neon and Black High-Waisted Pants

Alongside her sister, Chiney, she’s carrying her characteristically incredible game-day style into the off-season.

The biggest loss at the end of each WNBA season—aside from the end of entertaining basketball content, of course—is the lack of fashion moments shared by Nneka Ogwumike and Chiney Ogwumike. The pair have a way with style, and often prove as much in what has become (in our minds) a sort of pre-game ritual: show up to the Los Angeles Sparks’s Crypto.com Arena in a pair of outfits that display their incredible street style.

It was a simple plan, but it always played out just like that for the sisters and now former teammates (Nneka announced just last week that she will be leaving the Sparks after 12 years with the franchise).

Although it’s off-season and their fashion moments are few and far between, thankfully—for us—they aren’t gone entirely. The elder of the two, Nneka, clearly felt she would be remiss to let the tradition taper off, and took to Instagram to end the off-season drought.

In the photo, she wore a pair of black wide-leg pants with neon yellow stripes and a chic denim crop top. Her sister, Chiney, stood beside her in all black: mini shorts, a cropped top, blazer and over-the-knee boots.

“it’s cold out, but we keep bringing the HEAT 🔥,” she captioned the single photo of the pair standing side-by-side. There’s no denying it: they are undoubtedly bringing the heat with their fashion once again.

Though they won’t be playing together next season, we have no doubt they’ll still make time for their fashion moments.
