Kathy Jacobs made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2020, and after posing for photographer Yu Tsai in Turks and Caicos, she co-won that year’s Swim Search alongside Tanaye White. She returned to the magazine in ’21 for her rookie year and made history as the magazine’s oldest rookie model ever.

In addition to her photo shoots with SI Swimsuit, Jacobs has worked with notable brands including ThirdLove and Beautyblender, and she even has been featured in a Miley Cyrus music video. Today, Jacobs continues to model and also works as an actress. She is currently represented by NTA Talent Agency and Natural Model Management.

“Just to have people accept me as I am, it helps other women to be able to accept themselves how they are,” Jacobs told SI Swimsuit while on location of her sophomore photo shoot with the franchise.

Jacobs reunited with Tsai for her second magazine feature with the brand, this time in Tampa, Fla.

“I think it’s more impactful for me to win now at 57, I think people see that as inspiring,” she added. “Even though I’ve experienced and done a lot of things in life, it’s still scary for me to come in as a rookie, but at the same time, you shouldn’t be afraid to fail.”
