10 Breathtaking Photos of Former Miss Teen USA Kamie Crawford in St. Croix

Kamie Crawford, who made her SI Swimsuit debut last year in St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, describes feeling empowered after working with the iconic franchise. She posed for photographer Derek Kettela for her rookie year.

In addition to her work in the modeling industry, the Relationsh*t With Kamie Crawford podcast host and former Miss Teen USA is the host of MTV’s Are You The One? and previously co-hosted Catfish: The TV Show. 

Crawford, 30, said she felt confident on location, particularly when she got to sneak a peek at the images Kettela was capturing in between poses. Her favorite swimsuits on set were a golden bikini that she wore as she walked along the beach, as well as a brown one-piece with a side cut-out that she donned while posing atop a rock formation.

“It was like a Superwoman swimsuit,” Crawford said of the latter. “It just felt like very empowering to wear. It makes me feel even more amazing, and just like that I’m living in my purpose, being a part of a team that’s aligned with everything that I’m about—body positivity, and like inclusivity and women empowerment. All of those things are what my personal brand is built on.”

Crawford will return to the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue with the publication of the annual magazine later this month. She traveled to Dominica earlier this year, where she posed for photographer Yu Tsai.
