Kenza Fourati was photographed by Steve Erle in Singapore.

When Kenza Fourati made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2011, the Tunisian model double dipped with two features. She posed for photographer Steve Erle in Sentosa Island, Singapore, and also participated in a unique body paint photo shoot in a New York studio with makeup artist Joanne Gair and visual artist Stewart Shining.

In addition to her work with SI Swimsuit, the 35-year-old has also posed for Elle and Vogue and has modeled for Dior, Chanel and other renowned designer brands. Today, she continues to work in the industry and is also cofounder of Our Stories Are Yours, a brand that sells ethical, sustainable and chic luxury goods. She is married to Ayman Mohyeldin, and the couple share two children.

“When I got the call for Sports Illustrated I was, of course, very excited and proud,” Fourati, who grew up Muslim, told Global Grind at the time. “It’s a huge opportunity and, in a way, an accomplishment to be featured in such an institution. I had, for half a second, mixed feelings about how it will be perceived back home, but I was wrong to feel this way when I saw how proud people were.”
