We love to see women supporting women, and that’s just what iconic queens—and 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue cover models—Martha Stewart and Megan Fox did at the magazine’s red carpet launch party, held at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City on May 18.

After walking the red carpet individually, the two women posed together inside at a cocktail celebration, which was followed by an after-party with foods, drinks and dancing.

Stewart, 81, became the oldest women to ever land the cover of the magazine after posing for photographer Ruven Afanador in the Dominican Republic.

“When I heard that I was going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, I thought, ‘Oh, that’s pretty good, I’m going to be the oldest person I think ever on a cover of Sports Illustrated,’” Stewart shared. “And I don’t think about age very much, but I thought that this is kind of historic.”

Fox, 37, previously shared with SI Swimsuit that she manifested her opportunity of landing the publication’s cover. She worked with photographer Greg Swales, also in the Dominican Republic. While she said that she had a specific vision in mind for her feature, she truly hoped the general public would receive her photos well and understand how deep and articulate she is.

“What I most want people to know is that I’m a genuine soul who is hoping to actually belong to something and not always have to live as a misunderstood outcast,” Fox shared.
