Two-time SI Swimsuit alumna Erin Heatherton double-dipped during her debut with the brand in 2015. The model traveled to St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands and posed for photographer Yu Tsai on the breathtaking beaches, and also participated in a patriotic red, white and blue bodypaint feature with talented artist Joanne Gair.

The 34-year-old returned to the fold the following year, when she was captured by Ruven Afanadaor in Zanzibar.

“Being a model ... it’s been a long journey. I’ve been modeling since 2006. I was scouted for modeling [while] I was visiting the University of Miami. It was my junior year of high school and it was my first plane ride. My second plane ride was to New York after I was scouted,” she shared while on location with the brand in 2015. “I can’t even [believe I’m] doing this right now. To be able to learn and feel comfortable getting on camera, doing something funny, doing something different, that’s a perfect description of my hobbies. Sports Illustrated is really the highlight of my career. I’ve never had such a positive, uplifting experience. When you feel appreciated, feel loved, you can really shine. I’m really lucky.”

Today, the Illinois native is the cofounder of the Resistance Chicago Pilates studio. She and husband Karol Kocemba tied the knot in a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony last year.

Below are six phenomenal pics of Heatherton in St. John in a trio of different crochet swimsuits.
