Swim Search finalist Summer Wilson got engaged last month and in honor of the exciting milestone for her and now-fiancé Mike Fox, we’re throwing it back to some gorgeous photos from her 2021 shoot with Yu Tsai in Atlantic City.

The North Carolina native is a former NFL cheerleader and she worked for the Baltimore Raves for five years before deciding to pursue modeling and interior styling full time. She earned her degree in Public Relations from East Carolina University and served a short stint as a Medical Sales Representative.

“It for sure felt like a crazy idea to do at first as I had never shot professionally in a bikini, but I don’t regret it one bit,” she said of her decision to apply to the open casting call. “I loved representing a brand as a cheerleader in the NFL, but I felt now was the time to finally represent myself and be my own brand.”

Fox, who was her boyfriend at the time, was the first person Wilson told after she was named a finalist.

“He was so freaking excited and has fully supported me through this whole process,” she recalled. “You gotta get yourself a hype man, for sure!”

The two got engaged in a gorgeous beach proposal in July with a stunning, dramatic custom-designed ring.

“Best weekend of my life 💍 @mike_fox 🫶🏼so thankful for everyone who came to celebrate with us this weekend and all the effort that went into pulling off such an epic day! We love you more than you know! More photos to come. For now, I’m going to keep living in this daydream 😭🥰,” Wilson wrote at the time.
