4 Vibrant Photos From Summer Wilson’s Dream Come True Photoshoot in Atlantic City

The former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader was a finalist in the 2021 Swim Search.

The newest group of Swim Search winners were just announced on Oct. 20, and it has us thinking about our fabulous past groups of open casting call finalists. Particularly, we’re thinking back to our lovely group of 2021 finalists who took to the beaches of Atlantic City that year for a beautiful, vibrant feature.

Among the group was former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader and interior stylist Summer Wilson, a North Carolina native and East Caroline University alumna. Wilson was absolutely “overwhelmed” and “excited” for the opportunity to be featured in the magazine. For her, it was “an absolute dream come true,” she said of the experience. 

When she took to the beach in New Jersey, she wanted to bring “positivity and laughs,” showing others “that [she’s] a real person, and we’re all flawed,” she expressed. But, more than that, she wanted to inspire others to go for their dreams in the same way that she had when she applied for the brand’s Swim Search. 

She certainly achieved all of this and more with her fabulous East Coast feature, where she rocked a number of vibrant swimsuits on the beach. Though it’s hard to pick our favorites, below are a few of Wilson’s wonderful photos from the trip.

Now through Nov. 1, 100% of SI Swimsuit’s portion of proceeds from cover prints purchased here will be donated to the Maui Strong Fund, which is helping to support the people and places of Maui affected by the recent wildfires.
