5 Amazing Photos of LSU Gymnast Olivia Dunne in Portugal for SI Swimsuit 2024

The Division I athlete will grace the pages of the 2024 SI Swimsuit Issue in her second consecutive feature.

We know it’s hard to believe, but the time has come to introduce, or in this case, reintroduce, the talent who will grace the pages of the 2024 SI Swimsuit Issue. Among those who will be featured in the 60th anniversary edition is LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne.

The 21-year-old has had a busy year, to say the least. Between cultivating her online following (including more than 12 million TikTok and Instagram followers combined), garnering and maintaining high-value brand partnerships (and sharing the wealth with other female athletes at LSU through The Livvy Fund) and competing in a Division I sport as a full-time student, Dunne has had her hands full. 

She attributes some of her busy schedule to the success she has found since her first SI Swimsuit feature. “Ever since my last SI shoot, I feel like it opened a bunch of new doors into the modeling world and media world,” she explains. “I announced at the ESPYs, I worked with new magazine brands, it’s just been really cool.”

A year after her first photo shoot, which brought her to the beaches of Puerto Rico, the gymnast again teamed up with photographer Ben Watts for the coming year’s magazine feature in Porto and North of Portugal. According to Dunne, it was “a dream come true.” 

“I can’t believe I can call myself a rookie,” she said on the set. “It feels unreal.”
