Russian model Tanya Mityushina made an appearance in the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2016, when she rocked a series of adorable and bold string bikinis on the breathtaking beaches of Malta, an island country located in the central Mediterranean Sea. The 30-year-old served the ultimate summery vibes and looked super toned, happy and sun-kissed as she posed for photographer Ben Watts.

“It was an incredible experience,” she gushed of the opportunity. “I didn’t sleep the whole night before [the photoshoot] … I didn’t know what to expect from the shoot, and when I arrived, everyone was so supporting. I really loved working with that team. I think it was the best shoot I’ve ever had.”

She entered the industry four years prior to landing her feature with the brand, which she deemed a “dream come true.” Mityushina has also worked with major companies including GUESS, Victoria’s Secret, Intimissimi and American Eagle. The 1980s music enthusiast landed in the annual edition of the famous Cristal beer calendar the same year as her SI Swimsuit feature. She also had a brief acting stint when she made a quick appearance in the 2013 film Don Jon starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Scarlett Johansson.

Today, Mityushina is represented by Elite Model Management. She is active on her Instagram account, often sharing modeling campaign pics and posing for swimwear brands, including Sommer Swim and bond-eye.

Below are six stunning pics from her 2016 SI Swimsuit feature in Malta.
