Gigi Hadid first posed for the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2014, when the model traveled to the Jersey Shore with photographer Ben Watts. She returned to the fold the following two years, and her work with the brand took her to both Kauai, Hawai’i, and Tahiti, where she posed for visual artist Yu Tsai both in ’15 and ’16.

The 28-year-old, who is of Dutch and Palestinian descent, has worked with other notable brands like Chanel, Versace and Miu Miu. She’s also a notable television personality, and cohosts Next in Fashion alongside Tan France. Hadid founded her clothing label, Guest in Residence, in September 2022, and also serves as the brand’s creative director. On top of all of that, she’s also a proud mom. Hadid shares a 3-year-old daughter named Khai with her ex-partner, Zayn Malik.

“I started thinking about a more stabilized work schedule, where I wasn’t having to fly to a different country every week,” she told W Magazine of her shift in perspective while she was pregnant with her daughter. “I wanted something where I could go to the same office every day. I’d never had that. I could have a schedule with a child, and then be able to base my work life around that.”

Whether she’s in front of the camera, on mom duty or walking the runway, Hadid always impresses. Below are just a few of our favorite snapshots from her SI Swimsuit photoshoot in Hawai’i.
