Kenza Fourati was photographed by Steve Erle in Sentosa Island, Singapore.

Kenza Fourati appeared in the 2011 SI Swimsuit Issue and double-dipped that year for a stunning feature in Sentosa Island, Singapore, along with photographer Steve Erle. She also posed for Stewart Shining in another marvelous and unique bodypaint photoshoot with the help of talented artist Joanne Gair.

The France-born, Tunisia native signed with Elite Model Management at the age of 15. She has since been featured in major publications including Elle, Vogue, Grazia and GQ, and has starred in campaigns for Armani, Dior, Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Tommy Hilfiger, Valentino and Vivienne Westwood.

The 356-year-old married Ayman Mohyeldin in 2016, and the couple share two kids. Fourati is the cofounder of ethical and sustainable luxury brand Our Stories Are Yours. She moved to New York in 2010, and currently resides there with her family.

“It feels more like home more than anywhere else in the world. I feel New York can feel so comfortable for people who have a foot here. It doesn’t matter where you come from or what you do, it can be so welcoming. That’s what I love about it,” she told Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. “I’m proud of where I’m from. On the flip side, at home, people would say they’d seen pictures of me in lingerie or swimwear and there would be criticism. At the time, I didn’t have the words or the understanding, so I found it really hard. It means a lot of different things to be a young Arab today and I just thought, why not be a part of that conversation.”

Below are six of our favorite photos from her 2011 photoshoot in Singapore.
