8 Beautiful Photos From Anita Marshall’s SI Swim Debut in the Dominican Republic

The model offered great insight into the meaning of beauty in all its forms while in the Dominican Republic.

In 2020, American model Anita Marshall made her debut with SI Swimsuit, heading to the beaches of the Dominican Republic with photographer Kate Powers. Prior to her rookie photoshoot, the Boston native was best known for her work with brands such as Good American and Lane Bryant. 

While on set, the SI Swimsuit team took the time to catch up with the model, talking about everything from the industry to understandings of beauty.

When it comes to modeling, Marshall really appreciates and loves her job “because it’s a form of art,” she explained while on set. And part of the art form entails creating beauty, which has a certain “special and unique” quality, according to the model.

For her, beauty “is just staying inspired and true to yourself at the same time,” she said. Ultimately it’s about “being more of who we are and not of who we see,” she eloquently put it.

The model brought her positive thoughts and ideas on beauty to the set, and they really translated in the series of photos taken by Powers. She absolutely stunned in the photoshoot, underscoring her notions about beauty and staying true to herself.

At the end of the day, “success to me is always being happy,” she said. Given Marshall’s beautiful smile and energy in the Dominican Republic, we can say with confidence that the photoshoot was a true success. Below are eight fabulous photos of Marshall in the Caribbean nation.
